Coding will be part or Argentina’s national curriculum

Yesterday Argentina’s Federal Council of Education — the institution that regulates Argentina’s educational policies — declared that computer science education is of strategic importance during K-12 formal education.

The Council created a network of 300 “Schools that code” to pilot new computer science courses. Program.AR will be responsible for broadening this network to every school in the entire country.

Argentina now joins the UK, China, Saudi Arabia, Estonia and others in offering computer science at every school.

Will Singapore be next?
